Margaritas are always fun to make for Cinco de Mayo. To make refreshing drinks to go with my Mid-Eastern Taco, I came up with two different types of drinks.
Pomo Margarita is based off of the pomegranate which is a very popular Israeli fruit. Simple to make with a foundation of a margarita and adding in the pomegranate juice.
Pineapple Margarita worked really well with my Mid-Eastern Taco. I added a chilli flavored salted rim, chunks of fresh pineapple and pineapple juice. The contrast between the sweet pineapple and the spicy salt was amazing, plus the salt brought out the sweetness of the pineapple.
